Clemons Boats Marine Forecast 6-1-15 – Northeaster recap!

  • Clemons Boats Marine Forecast 6-1-15 – Northeaster recap!

    Monday June 1st, 2015

    WOW….May ended with a BANG!

That is about all that can be said about yesterdays Northeaster’! Here at our marina we saw water levels the highest we have seen since the 70’s! Normally we are begging for some extra water, but not 3ft! We had to assist some boaters and do some damage control but for the most part everything seems to be ok. As of this morning, the water levels have dropped, but they are still a bit elevated. If you have a boat at the lake and haven’t sent anyone to check on it, I would suggest you do so.

Here is today’s marine forecast. Remember that we will see elevated seas from yesterday for a few days regardless of wind. Stay safe and be smart!

Remember when they say 5-7fters that is a true 5-7ft! On Lake Erie, that is a far different thing than 5-7ft in the ocean. It isn’t fun to run on Lake Erie in nearly anything in 5-7 fters. My advice is to stay at the dock and have a cocktail!

    See you on the water,
